Preschool - Learning Through Play
We are a Reggio inspired pre-school and incorporate an emergent curriculum towards school readiness. We provide enriching experiences for your child through project based learning. We believe young children learn best from their experiences which is why we ensure they are exposed to many different mediums so they can discover their world, create new ideas, and express themselves.
We are a play-based preschool and believe most learning objectives can be accomplished through play. Our structured, yet open-ended, play-based program prepares each child to develop his or her intellectual and creative abilities that are critical for future learning. Here we work to give each child the tools and the foundation to build a lifelong love for learning.
We are truly dedicated to the individuality of children! We recognize each child is unique individuals with abilities. At our preschool its a facilitators’ responsibility is to guide and nurture each and every child, in developing to his/her full potential.
Our goal is to meet each child’s individual emotional, social, cognitive, and physical needs in a comfortable and loving environment. Activities facilitate the transition from one developmental stage to the next. These include activities in art, music, math, language, science, dramatic play, fine and gross motor development. Our natural outdoor spaces enhance curiosity & encourage children to develop an appreciation for and an awareness of nature.
Learning is a skill that does not happen by chance. Learning is a lifelong process, but first, a child must learn how to learn productively. At Atelier International children are encouraged to develop the skills of observation, inquiry, concentration, problem-solving, and self-reliance.
